I knew that this would be a problem, which is why I haven't mentioned this blog to anyone but D thus far. And if you're reading this now, it's probably because I've gotten my act together sometime in the future. I've had lots of ideas and intentions. Those have never made it into "e-reality".
I am still in awe of how delicious yesterday's dinner turned out, so I'm going to rave here! We had quite a lot of leftover grilled chicken from earlier in the week, and were tired of eating it unadorned. After perusing the grocery store circulars, quesadillas popped into my head. Plus several places had avocados on sale. So, we shredded some of the chicken, added cheddar and jack cheeses and a bit of salsa, and made quesadillas. I made guacamole following the recipe in "The Best Recipe". Simple ingredients. Simply prepared. Delicious beyond all expectation.
And I am also happy because tonight I have nearly finished a crochet project I started back in January. All I need are 3 buttons for the underside of the shell, and this guy is done!
